There is certainly enough lack of information that China should be cooperating more fully with the world. Why are they dragging their feet and playing dumb? Go back to 2017…A report of 3 people dead after gathering bat guano from a cave hundreds miles from Wuhan. The Chinese government sends scientists from the Wuhan Lab to the cave to study the cases. The examiners take samples back to the lab. They discover 6 new strains of coronavirus. “In 2017, scientists tracked down the bats responsible for the 2003 SARS outbreak there. The region also played host to the 2012 discovery of RaTG13, a close variant of the coronavirus, which a study in February found to share 96% of its genetic makeup.” “ Another coronavirus was discovered in the bats from the Yunnan caves in 2019, as Business Insider's Aylin Woodward previously reported…The study published in the journal Current Biology identified a previously unknown coronavirus named RmYN02 "that's 97.1% similar to SARS-CoV-2" that was found between May and October 2019. Many of the samples taken from the caves have been transferred to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the BBC said, a facility at the center of a baseless conspiracy theory that accused it of leaking the coronavirus from a lab. The lab denies the theory.” Of course they do! The more clear story seems to be that they brought back numerous novel strains of coronavirus for study. The scenario suggests that through lax laboratory safety protocol, several workers were exposed and developed cases of the virus. They were locally hospitalized and there begins what the public knows. The virus killed 774 people and infected more than 8,000 in eight months.” THE BOTTOM LINE… The virus followed typical mutation pathways making a natural leap from animals to humans. Just like hundreds of viral pathogens have done over millennia. This WILL happen again, and next time it may be 1000 times more deadly, it’s just a roll of the genetic dice for what mutations develop. What is clear is that you dumb asses that do not believe in scientific fact and do not understand virology are the ones most likely to spread the virus and more likely to die from it.
