Interactive Bagpipe & Drum Corps Lacey's 'Play in the Park': Visit a different local park and see a new performer every Thursday this summer. July 8 - August 12. Formed in 1972 to promote Scottish music and culture around our state and beyond. the Olympia Highlanders give lessons in both bagpiping and Scottish drumming for those interested. As well as Scottish Highland Dance instruction. Please do ask for more information. They perform at a variety of events as a band, solo or small group, ask for details. They will have CDs for sale with them. https://www.olympiahighlanderspipesanddrums.org/ IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Each person attending needs a ticket (free). • All attendees are required to wear face coverings. • Groups are limited to up to 15 people, up to 2 household per group. Family/group spaces will be designated at the event, and attendees will be expected, for the most part, to stay in their space during the event. • Please maintain 6 ft distance while at the event. • Stay home if you feel ill or experiencing any COVID symptoms. • Follow all posted COVID safety regulations in accordance with the Governors' Healthy Washington - Roadmap to Recovery. • When you arrive, please look for the ‘information tent’ to enter, where you can show your print out ticket or e-tickets on your phone. • Please bring your own seating or mat for the grass
