• The primary responsibility of a truss builder will include but is not limited to, placing metal reinforcements over connections using various hand tools.
• Working in a team environment, building various size trusses from scratch, to begin with cutting of material, then being able to work through the assembly side of putting cut pieces together.
• Use of basic hand tools, hammers, tape measures (understanding how to read properly), electric drills, metal saws.
• Utilize build table with jig layouts for repeatable construction practices.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts
• Follow written instructions,
• Assembly based on customer detail requirements and deadlines,
• Clean and maintain the work area on a regular basis also to include all tooling.
