A special event to celebrate summer, stories, and coming together! Summer reading is not just for kids! The theme of this year’s Summer Reading Program is Tails and Tales. Please join us on June 24th from 6:30-8:00pm for Tales and Cocktails, a special evening event celebrating summer reading and reuniting! Local singer/songwriter Joe Kuckla will share songs and tall tales, and Spirit Hound’s Amanda Engelhorn will be mixing-up two signature cocktails for the evening: the Lyon’s Tail & the Frida (in honor of Joe’s famous burro)! Beer, wine, and snacks will also be available. The event is free but you must register and tickets are limited! Registration includes 2 drink tickets. Donations to the Friends of the Lyons Library are welcome and appreciated! Adherence to Covid-19 protocols required.
