Stop by Nest on Sunday for this sweet Pop-Up with SimplyDelishNYC! SimplyDelish NYC has something for everybody! Their line includes Carrot cakes, lady fingers (guava filled cookies topped with powder sugar), brownies, gluten free/vegan brownies, and Dominican cakes. A little bit about Jeaneska, the talent behind SimplyDelishNYC's baked goods: When I was a little girl, I used to help my mother mix the carrot cake ingredients as she baked my dad’s favorite cake. That is when my love of baking began. When I was a teenager, I started baking brownies and selling them at school to friends and teachers. During my junior year in high school, I was selling the deditos de novia (lady fingers) to a local supermarket. Every recipe that I bake has been passed down from my mother, my grandmother and generations before me. Today, I bake with the help of my children.
