Experience the Kentucky River, Fantasy Forest and Kentucky's finest bourbons in support of the Woods & Waters Land Trust. Join the Woods & Waters Land Trust for a tour of Frankfort's best natural landscapes and thrilling spirits. In this half-day event, participants will: Board Kentucky River Tours' Bourbon Boat to learn about the Kentucky River’s invasive species Tour Fantasy Forest, an urban forest filled with native plants just blocks from the State Capitol Explore Kentucky's prized spirit in a Bourbon Tasting with downtown Frankfort's Capital Cellars (A non-alcoholic tasting option will be available for all participants under age 21.) Tours begin at River View Park (404 Wilkinson Blvd., Frankfort) at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., and 1 p.m., and will last approximately 4 hours. Tour sizes are limited, so please purchase tickets for your desired tour time to reserve your spot. Participants will need to provide their own transportation between tour stops.
