Perks Many opportunities for professional and personal development and career growth Company Benefits Essential Functions -Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner -Coordinate with the property manager and team to prioritize tasks throughout the day -Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors -Identify any issues regarding safety, hazardous conditions or maintenance needs in the portfolio and correct them or report them to the property manager -Perform preventative maintenance on equipment -Prepare vacant units for move-in, including completing any necessary repairs or replacements -Ensure upkeep of portfolio appearance by replacing lightbulbs, removing trash and litter, painting and performing repairs -Accurately complete records in portfolio regarding service requests, preventative maintenance, and make-ready of vacant units -Perform electrical and plumbing work as required -Assist with grounds keeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, distribution of notices, units inspections, and other tasks as needed -You will be responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs in areas such as, but not limited to: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, Tile, drywall repair,, appliances maintenance and exterior structure maintenance. -Must experience and knowledge in HVAC -Must experience and knowledge in APPLIANCES repair. -Prepare vacant apartments for our next resident by carefully inspecting, evaluating, and making any necessary repairs. -Ensure workplace safety through the participation of all applicable safety rules and requirements. Qualifications Must hold a certification/licensure in HVAC Must have valid driver’s license and truck, dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule Must basic tools Six months of maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment/portfolio industry High School Diploma preferred; certification from an accredited trade school highly desired EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred Demonstrate knowledge of technical skills as it relates to units maintenance Handle tile work, carpentry repairs and all facets of the make ready process Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and all other systems at the community Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
