I am looking for a good home for a little rooster. He is just at 1 pound and full grown at 1.5 years old. I rescued him about 3 months ago and although he enjoys being indoors, he would much rather be with some hens outdoors. Sadly, we have far to many predators to allow him that option and I think he's sad without some hens to call his own. He has never once shown any aggression and he loves to be picked up and handled. He even tolerates being dressed up by my daughter. Serama's are extremely tiny chickens. They are extremely friendly birds and love treats. Serama's are to small for meat, so anyone who's looking for some food can keep looking as he will not be sold for food. If you have a proper home for the little guy, I would love to have a visit and see if he's a good fit for your flock. He can not be placed with standard sized hens or other roosters due to his small size. We are located in Hollins but will be traveling to his future home to ensure his safety. A contract is required guaranteeing that he will not be used for food or fighting.
