Summer time is here, which means its time to be outside!!! Come kick it with us, and shop dope brands at the POC popup shop in Manhattan. Summer summer summer time! We know you're ready to be outside (safely, of course) and we are giving you a reason to be! Come kick it with us and some dope brands at the Pop of Culture popup happening JUNE 19TH in Manhattan. Yes, this is the perfect way to support Black-owned businesses during JUNETEENTH WEEKEND! Who are we? Pop of Culture is a community built for Black entrepreneurs and creatives. We organize social events, like multi-city popup shops, and provide resources that encourage networking and business growth. Our mission is to create an ecosystem, centered around business and entertainment, that provides superior value and opportunities for those within it. Pretty much, we are for the culture!! We are excited to kick off the summer with a fun popup event where you can SHOP, NETWORK, enjoy some DRINKS, take pictures, and simply VIBE. Come out on June 19th and help us celebrate JUNETEENTH by shopping small Black-owned fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. It's always a great time to shop small and make an impact! In addition to shopping Black-owned brands, you will enjoy some spoken word by a local talent named Keion Stanton. Keion is an African-American poet, actor and rapper, who looks to empower others with his strong message spreading acceptance, love and community. At only 23, he has become a published author and renowned performer, making appearances at venues like Brooklyn Museum and Nuyorican Poets Cafe. Through his words, it is his goal to break racial barriers and create a world that is brimming with light, love and positivity. Oh, but we aren’t done yet.... Enjoy FREE drinks from 1-4 pm. We are also running a giveaway in which you can win gift cards from Chipotle, Best Buy, Cheesecake Factory and some of the participating brands! -------------- ------------- This year, we are implementing time slots to control the flow of people in and out of the space. There are two choices for tickets: FREE- no cost. Simply come and shop! PAID - it's only $3 and this ticket will enter you into our giveaway when you come to the popup. When you are getting your ticket, please select a time slot and stick to it! Please DO NOT get more than one ticket unless someone is actually coming with you. We are still ACCEPTING BRANDS.
