SunSet Jazz : Matt Cappy Spy Boy Productions ALL AGES Matt Cappy Expect Cappy and his funky crew to throw down as they debut Matt’s newest recording Tales of the Tape. Matt Cappy, a trumpeter, composer and arranger from Berlin, NJ, has been recording, touring and performing with the biggest names in music since graduating from The University of The Arts. The funk-fusion trumpeter has played sideman to stars as Tony Bennett, Aretha Franklin, Jill Scott, Mos Def, Erykah Badu and Jay-Z. But its in his capacity as bandleader of his potent quintet that Cappy really gets to blow his own horn. SunSet Jazz is produced by Spy Boy Productions, presenters of the Exit Zero Jazz Festival. All performances are held on the 10,000 square feet of Green Space on the Emlen Physick Estate in Cape May, NJ. All current State of NJ and CDC health and safety guidelines will be observed in order to keep patrons, musicians and staff safe and healthy. Rain or Shine event. Picnic/byob encouraged.
