4th Berkshire GreenLeaf Community Hike/ Lulu Trail to Top of State Forest

Hiking to the top of Pittsfield State Forest on The Lulu Brook Trail! This Hike will Start at 11am, please come before so you have time to sign the release of liability waiver. I will make this group first come, first serve to the first 20 People who sign up through EventBrite! We will meet at Lulu Pond Parking lot in the State Forest ( this lot is located straight in when you enter the park, go straight past Rangers station, up and over the hill and you will see the large lot on your left next to the pond). At this time of the year, DCF may ask you to pay when you enter the park. It's $5 for MA state residence & $20 for out of state. I called and they are not sure when they will be implementing this fee but please have cash ready! This is a hike up to the top of the State Forest to view point that looks over to NY state. This hike is much a more challenging than the others we have done with this group! There will be steep inclines and declines and we will be up high on the ridge that looks over the Brook on the way up! Please bring plenty of water & a snack to enjoy at the top!What you should bring: Water A small snack Hiking boots or SneakersBug sprayBackpack for your items I will have a first-aid kit with me if anyone may need something such as a Band-Aid don't hesitate to ask. Greylock: Meet at CCC Dynamite Trail Head Parking lot or across the road on Sperry Rd. We will walk Sperry Rd. 2 miles to the View. October 3rd- No Hike Today October 17th- Sweet Heart Hike - Suggested by James Alden from our Group: Meet at Kirvin Park, Pittsfield. October 31st- To the top of State Forest: Meet at Lulu Pond, Pittsfield State Forest.
