Preparing for Season 45! Greetings from the The Black Academy of Arts & Letters, Inc! We are holding open interviews for all tech positions including Lighting, Sound & stagehands with intermediate to advanced knowledge of audio and lighting essential functions and operations. We also need people who specialize in Rigging, Video & Carpentry. If selected, after you interview with our Technical Director, Jonathan Tyler and & lead House Audio Personnel, Marcus Miller you will be instructed to meet with the Director if the Institution and subject to random tasks to show audio or lighting proficiency; we have an ETC Expression 3 and Behringer x32 & x32C. If you are approved by Mr. King to work at this institution then you will be oriented and trained in the spaces immediately following the meeting. Please plan to be present from 4pm-6:30 pm unless you are dismissed early.
