Green Valley Mortuary is accepting applications for a full time groundskeeper/landscaper/paisajista/jardinero Minimum Experience: none Preferred Experience: Irrigation repair and sprinkler system maintenance. Experience in operating a back hoe or mini excavator. Position Summary: Landscape and maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Employee typically performs a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and irrigation maintenance. Responsibilities: Perform general grounds maintenance work. - Plants, cultivates and cares for lawns, ornamental plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers. - Maintains irrigation system, installing and repairing sprinkler heads and lines. - Prunes trees, resods, and otherwise repairs lawns and surrounding areas. - Operates and services equipment including riding lawnmower, weed eaters, tractors, leaf blower, and other related maintenance equipment. - Maintain surrounding walkways and parking areas. - Performs related work as required.
