Description
This camp is open to two separate age groups: 8-12 and 13-17 In order to EXPRESS register for this event, please create an Annual Family Account here. You will receive an email confirmation with links to express sign-up for each camp. Due to feedback from our families last year, we have changed the way we are approaching registration this year. Families will create one Annual Family Account that includes all waivers and consent forms and then simply express sign-up for camps using camper names and parent emails. Campers will explore the diversity of Texas art and learn about the artists and art genres that add beauty and richness to our great state. Campers will produce a keepsake portfolio full of their own art and creations throughout the week. Campers will explore and create a wide variety of Fine Art genres, from learning about bards, storytelling and folklore; visual & tactile arts including murals and sculpture; mixed media; music & sound; to producing and/or enjoying written works, such as literature, poetry, and creative writing. In a city so rich in art history, vibrancy, and life, our goal is to make art accessible to all. Campers will be separated into two age groups- 8-12 and 13-17.
