Young & Bold Hosted PlayGroup (Up to Age 9) Young & Bold is hosting a FREE PlayGroup for kids & their caregivers Friday, May 28th from 9am-11am at Standing Bear Kids Park! Heads up! This event is FREE because Young & Bold wants YOUR feedback! You'll receive a survey via email after the event seeking your thoughts & comments. What is this "Y&B Hosted PlayGroup"? A chance for kids to play with their parent/caregiver & other kids WITHOUT YOU having to worry about set up, clean up, or coming up with things to do!It is NOT a place to drop off kids by themselves. Caregivers must be present throughout the event. However, if your child is entertained.... TAKE A BREAK! Just keep an eye out.What will we do? Yard Games: Cornhole, Pole-ish Horseshoes, Bocce Ball, Ring Toss, Washers, Giant Lawn Pong, RampShot, Tetherball, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect Four, etc.Group Games: Pool Noodle Tag, Freeze Dance, Giant Parachute, Hide & Seek, Duck Duck Goose, Kickball, Volleyball, Dodgeball, etc.Other Activities: Build & Bash, Tip the Tower, Treasure Hunt, Eye Spy, Scavenger Hunt, free play at the kids park, & anything we come up with!What ages should come? Kids: Ages 9 and under. (There's another FREE PlayGroup for ages 10-18 from 1pm-3pm on Friday, May 28th.)Caregivers must be age 19 years or older. *We recommend 2 caregivers come if you're bringing more than 2 children. What do I need to bring? Water, snacks, & sunscreenFolding chairs or blankets for rest breaksClose toed shoesWhat else should I know? The kids park is on the North Side of Standing Bear accessible ONLY from 132nd Street. Address: 11 Papio Lake 16 Road North in Omaha, NE.There is tons of shade and a cool breeze off the lake.Restrooms: A Porta-john is nearby, but its not the most enjoyable experience. We're working on that!The Kids Park is fun - Sand toys would be useful for younger kids.Plenty of parking around the kids park. NO pets or alcoholPlease read the Service Agreement and Release of Liability Waiver during checkout.
