Description
Needing to rehome my daughter's German shepherd. He is 4 yrs old and she has had him since he was 8 weeks. This dogs home was at her dad's house and he has since moved where he cannot have pets. We tried to integrate him into our home and it isn't working out. We have company too often and he is too protective of our family.
About Kimber:
He has lived outside for about 2.5 yrs and is doing very well relearning house training, his door alerts aren't the most obvious so I just take him out frequently. He is crate trained and enjoys laying in there. He knows sit, lay down and kennel but doesn't come every time when he is told if he is off leash and free in the yard. He is super lovey and playful. He pulls on the leash but loves walking. Great guard dog, not a great fit if you have lots of company. He will growl and nip at stranger's. He has been housed with other dogs and is currently but is dominant so he will need supervised. Housed with children but would be best if he wasn't. He growls at strangers children. He loves taking a bath and snuggling. He is not neutered. He was very sick with parvo when he was a puppy and took a long time to recover so it wasn't priority.
What he comes with:
Toys, leash, harness, flea treatment, food (amount dependent on when he is rehomed), crate, food bowls. There is a small rehoming fee
