ALL HIGH SCHOOL LINEMAN* Event is FREE One (1) offensive lineman (1) defensive lineman & one (1) team is crowned "NATIONAL CHAMPION". The competition measures speed, agility, quickness and strength while incorporating explosiveness, foot movement and leverage. However, it is also a friendly competition that is aimed at building respect and camaraderie for fellow players in the trenches at all levels of size and athleticism. The Lineman Challenge is open to individual participants and teams. Teams have no max in participants but can have no fewer than (5) participants. Schools may enter more than one team. Typical events include: 40 yard dash (laser timed) Pro-shuttle. (laser timed) L-Drill Broad Jump Vertical Leap Bench Press or Pushups Medicine Ball Throw (1) Prowler Sled Push (1) Man Sled pull Tug of War Farmers Walk Relay Tractor Tire Flip Obstacle Course Relay WHO CAN ATTEND: The competition is for rising high school freshman, through seniors HOW TO SHOW UP: Bring your own warm-up needs. We will provide all equipment for competition. We suggest shirts that represent your school. Dress appropriately for weather conditions - competition will be conducted regardless of weather conditions (determined safe). LUNCH: Food Trucks and concessions are available on site. If you have special dietary needs you may also bring your own lunch. We do not charge for this competition in order that ALL linemen are properly evaluated and ranked based on talent not financial investment. However, everyone must register.
