MEDFORD, MA — The Advisory Committee to rename Columbus Elementary School is expected to narrow the field of nominees down to three finalists Thursday. Earlier this month, the committee selected 18 names to consider, including nominees of both local and historical significance. The committee scored each semi-finalist based on their knowledge of the person and community feedback.
