Brewers Announce New Mask Policy, Other Changes For Games

MILWAUKEE, WI — The Brewers are changing several policies for fans attending games at American Family Field this summer, the team announced on Wednesday. The changes will start June 1. Fans who are fully vaccinated will not be required to wear a mask while attending Brewers games at American Family Field. It is recommended that fans who aren't vaccinated continue to wear masks at games following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance, the team said. Next, fans will be allowed to bring in certain items as carry-ins, including: Bags with dimensions of 5" x 9" or smallerSealed bottles of water, juice or soda (32 oz. or smaller)Personal size food items (e.g., a sandwich, small bags of pretzels, piece of fruit)Diaper bags and medical /family needs bags Lastly, cash will also be accepted at a limited number of concession stands, the team announced. The majority of concession stands, including portable kiosks and retail locations, will remain completely cashless and accept credit cards and contactless payments such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. "As we move toward 100% capacity, we look forward to the return of policies that will enhance the fan experience throughout American Family Field," Brewers President Rick Schlesinger said.
