HICKSVILLE, NY — An investigation into a fatal drug overdose led to the arrest of a suspected dealer, Nassau County police said. According to police, the investigation into the fatal overdose of a Nassau resident led detectives to arrest Joseph Demm, 29, of Georgia Street, Hicksville. Police say Demm was arrested without incident around 4:20 p.m. on May 25. Demm is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to be arraigned later today.
