Cal Mill Construction is looking for a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. Our company has new Cat equipment along with Trimble 3D total station auto grading system. Description: Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment such as Dump Truck, Backhoe, Skid Steer and Excavator. Minimum 5 years of recent experience required. Complete daily machine maintenance. Tow equipment to job sites (Class A License Required) Operate Heavy equipment and manage 1-2 helpers Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans. Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met. Train and supervise the use of machinery and equipment. Operate Dump Truck, Backhoe, Skid Steers with attachments and Excavators Work through problems when they arise with Project Manager. Maintain Project Mangers Schedule Enforce daily machine maintenance. Requirements High school diploma, equivalent work experience. Pre-employment drug and background screening required. Minimum (5) years of experience in the construction field. Ability to read and comprehend plans, instructions, procedures. Ability to speak and understand English. Valid CA Driver License with clean driving record and Class A required. Must be able to operate dump truck, backhoe, skid steer and excavator. Familiar with commercial projects.
