Full time position open for a Material Handler at a large automotive production plant. Essential Responsibilities: · Receiving and issuing inventory. · Back-flush inventory transactions. · Cycle count and inventory control. · Daily use of computers for data entry. · Communicate and work closely with manufacturing floor, scheduling, engineering to resolve problems. · Expedite past due deliveries from suppliers in support of operational and production requirements and respond to purchasing department. · Responsibilities may include any or all of the functional areas of receiving, shipping, stockroom, data entry, and parts delivery. · Run reports and review transactions to ensure accuracy. · Participate in cross training all other warehouse positions. · Special projects as needed and assigned. · Current driver license. Physical Requirements: Able to stand for extended periods of time Occasionally Able to lift 25lbs over head Constantly Able to sit for long periods of time Constantly Able to operate computer Constantly Able to communicate both written and verbally Constantly Able to understand and carry out directions Constantly Overall Characteristics: · Computer skills essential for inventory control. · Accuracy, attention to detail, well organized. · Service oriented and customer focused, both internal and external
