HoCo PRIDE Event Will Return For 2021

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — HoCo PRIDE will return for 2021. PFLAG Columbia-Howard County brings back its annual event after a brief hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. The festival will be Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Merriweather Park at Symphony Woods. "After a year of angst and general despair, we take pride in the fact that we came out the other end stronger than we were before. Safety is a top priority, but justice is paramount. In 2021 we will no longer accept the status quo. We will fight. We will be heard. Most importantly, we will win," Jumel Howard, HoCo PRIDE Planning Committee Chair wrote on the organization's website. More details will be released as they become available, Howard noted.
