Registration is now open for the Arlington Envision Center's job skills virtual classes being held in advance of next month's job fair.
If you are interested in participating in job skills virtual classes hosted by the Arlington Housing Authority, please register as soon as possible by sending an email to [email protected].
Participants will be provided a link to participate in the workshops.
Workshop Dates
Thursday, May 27: 10:30 a.m. to noon Owner of Inclusive Coffee presenting on "How to Get Hired in the Interview" Tuesday, June 1: 10 a.m. to noon Texas Live presenting on "Tracking Systems and the Key to Getting Hired and Walk Away with a Resume" Tuesday, June 8: 10 a.m. to noon Workforce Solutions presenting on "Closing the Deal in an Interview" The Arlington Envision Center is also set to host a job fair that will be both in-person and virtual from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
Bring copies of your resume and contact information. Employers are hiring for a wide range of positions and will be on hand to accept applications and resumes for open positions. Some employers will be holding interviews virtually. Local businesses include Amazon, Inclusion Coffee, UPS, Texas Live! and Cornerstone Staffing.
