Busy underground construction company is looking to HIRE a Diesel Mechanic !
Job Responsibilities:
Maintains diesel vehicle operation by completing inspections and preventive
maintenance requirements; making adjustments and performing recommended repairs.
● Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests;
identifying worn and damaged parts.
● Perform basic vehicle maintenance (lube, oil & filter service, fuel filters,
transmission services, etc.)
● Examine the vehicle to determine if any additional safety or service work is
needed
● Install suspension and performance upgrades (lift kits, cold air intake, tuning
devices, etc.)
● Ensuring vehicles comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing
engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
●REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have valid/CLEAN Drivers License
* Must have steel toe boots
* Spanish/English a plus
• Pay Rate : BASED ON EXPERIENCE
• FULL TIME / 40+ hrs a week
• Shift: start at 7am (8-10 /hr shifts) Monday-Friday
(must be flexible for overtime/weekends)
• This is Long Term/Direct Hire position that works year round
