JOB SUMMARY We are currently looking for a Full-Time Janitor who will perform a variety of general cleaning tasks in the common areas, residents’ units, offices, ground, garage, or other assigned areas, maintaining a sanitary and attractive facility. SCHEDULE Full-Time; 40 hours per weekWednesday-Sunday 7:30am-4:00pmShifts will also include some holidays as needed KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Patience and understanding of the aged Ability to read and follow basic verbal and written instructions Physical skills and ability to perform work that requires continual standing, walking, stooping, bending and lifting up to 75 pounds Ability to comply with work safety practices and guidelines relating to industrial chemicals Skill to handle all housekeeping equipment, industrial cleaning machines Knowledge and understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or retirement community preferred REQUIREMENTS Applicants must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations. Must meet health assessment requirements as regulated by the California Department of Social Services. TB testing and fingerprint clearance required by Community Care Licensing through the State of California Department of Justice background check bureau.
