Hi, I am a songwriter/lyricist living in Noe Valley. I am interested in meeting and perhaps collaborating with other songwriters in the neighborhood. My idea is to have us know each other, perhaps meet up occasionally, perhaps do a songwriters circle (like, 4 folks in a circle each play and sing one song? or meet up someplace with a piano?). I am 53 and play a few instruments, some better than others but enjoy them all.
I am new to BMI, publishing, submissions, etc. I have some demos, I currently lean towards Americana, blues, singer/songwriter styles, but have some classic rock, funk and other tunes in the hopper. See below for a sample of what I tend to put out:
