Responsibilities *Ensures that the Company is meeting the production and quality standards of the client. *Reviews work volumes, plans, and continuously monitors staffing levels to ensure procedures are being followed, the shop is efficient, we give the client a quality work product, and outstanding customer service. *Reviews departmental performance against key performance indicators and metrics, develops, and executes strategies for improvement. *Use management tools to track production and post charges. *Effectively lead the team at the location by setting the example in behavior and ensuring that all employees are treated fairly and with respect. *Monitor and control the use of supplies, materials, and equipment for the Detail Shop and purchase equipment and supplies as needed. *Communicate, discuss and resolve reconditioning goals, results, and problems with the Regional Detail Shop Management. *Responsible for ensuring all services are accounted for and appropriately charged against vehicles. *Maintain and develop shop staff, in conjunction with other members of the management team, by recruiting, onboarding, and training shop employees as necessary. *Counsel and discipline employees as necessary, monitor and evaluate employees’ job performance and conduct performance appraisals. *Monitor and aid in ensuring established guidelines for a safe work environment are met to achieve compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. *Enforce all company policies/procedures related to employee and customer conduct. We prefer our Managers to have the following: *Basic understanding of the automotive business preferably in the wholesale auto auction industry; *Good business acumen; *At least three+ years of experience in a high volume reconditioning business; *Experience managing people; *Good oral and written communication skills; *Computer literate; *Understanding of high volume production; and *Flexible work schedule to include working some weekends Compensation Will be based on the qualified candidate's experience ($47k to 48K per year) and semi-annual bonuses may apply.
