The Chicago Sky lost their second straight game of the season, both losses coming at their home arena. They are now 2-2. The key stat in the game is the 21 turnovers the Sky committed, as opposed to just 190 by the Atlanta Dream. It was an unusual imbalance for the Sky. The Sky were led by Kahleah Copper with 21` points. Other players in double digits were Diamond DeShields (17), Courtney Vandersloot (14), Astou Ndour-Fall (13) and non-starter Azura Stevens (11). DeShields and Ndour-Fall led the way in rebounds with nine each. One other stat that stands out was three-point shooting. The Dream shot 44.4% (8/18) from beyond the arc, but the Sky only shot 35.3% (6/17). Atlanta had a 10-0 run near the end of the first quarter to gain control. The Dream led 43-33 at halftime. Although the Sky outscored the Dream in the seond half, it wasn't enough. Candace Parker (ankle) and Allie Quigley (hamstring) did not play. The Sky return to action on Friday, hosting the Los Angeles Sparks, who are 0-2.
