Description
Free to (VERY) good home!
We recently took in a panther chameleon as a rescue. We have rehabilitated him, he is doing very well and is now ready for a very sweet person or family to adopt him!
A little about him. His name is Ashton but you can change if you want to. He is about 2 years old but chameleons can live to be 8 or 9! He is a very sweet boy that is very chill, never, ever hisses and doesn’t mind be held, doesn’t mind kids or dogs. He eats very well, is well hydrated, his tongue works perfectly fine. He likes crickets, dubias and horn worms best. He must go to someone that will not put him in direct contact with other reptiles because he has an underlying papilloma virus that when activated can be contagious to other reptiles. It is not contagious or harmful for people or mammals. Only other reptiles. It appears as small bumps on his skin that do not affect him or cause him any discomfort. They disappear when the virus goes into remission then resurface when the virus becomes active again. He currently has a few bumps now but most of them have disappeared with proper medicine, diet, supplements and correct lighting. He will come with his medicine and supplements.
Note: We will also sell his cage along with him for $95 if you need a cage. He must have a screen cage and proper UVB light which I can include for $30 if you do not have one on hand.
Please feel free to text or email to discuss. We will not just give him to anyone, but we are looking for a caring, responsible person that is knowledgeable about chameleon care or willing to do a crash course to learn how to properly care for him. If that sounds like you, please get in touch with us! We really care about him and have invested a lot to rescue and rehabilitate him. Nothing would make us happier than passing him on to someone who will really love him. He is a sweet boy. He deserves a great home!
