We make salon-quality solid shampoo and conditioner bars. Our mission is to help reduce the amount of single use plastic in our lives and we invite you to be part of our TEAM!!! Do you want to be involved in helping shake up how personal care products are packaged in the future! Are you sick of plastic plastic plastic? We are a small team of 28 that make and fulfill orders going to individuals, as well as large retail customers. This position is medium industrial. Some aspects require working with heavy batches of solid shampoo in a 140 qt Hobart mixing bowl. We use melted oils and butters in large pots to make our products. Pressing the shampoo bars into shape requires idle, but repetitive, work with pneumatic air presses. Hours are M-F from 9 to 5 pm (or later on occasion) 40 hours per week. Requirements: Physically fit, self directed, energetic and motivated Strong attention to detail and accuracy is needed Great attendance required Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal Ability to lift 75 lbs and to sit, stand, bend, climb stairs, and work with botanical ingredients and scents Must be extremely trustworthy and flexible.
