AUTO DETAILER SUMMARY: We are looking for a reliable, dependable, and responsible car detailer who will adhere to provide quality automotive cleaning services to our customers. The Car Detailer will clean vehicles according to company standards or client specifications, which may include performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors. You should possess strong customer service skills and be familiar with the tools and agents used to clean and maintain vehicles. Making a car shiny and spotless on the inside as well as the outside is our main objective. All Detailers are the heart of our business, with your help we are able to keep people safe, clean, happy. Job Description: • Performing walk around inspections, examining a car for cosmetic imperfections, and other duties that include: • Washing, waxing, and buffing exteriors • Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests. • Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations. • Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles. • Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition. • Following all company and safety procedures • Repairing small cosmetic parts • Ensuring quality work is done before moving on • Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations, or picking owners or drivers up if needed. • Managing inventory and reordering supplies. • Responding to client inquiries and fulfilling their requests. • Completing all jobs to quality, on a daily basis. Day-to-day activities of the position • To make sure all work areas are clean at all times. • to make sure your workspace is clean before you leave. • Required Skills: • Attention to detail: You must pay high attention to detail to catch small cosmetic imperfections and ensure all work is done properly, we say again perfectly because doing it right the first time saves time. Having to go over this same work waste time. • Teamwork/interpersonal skills: You must be able to work by yourself and as part of a team. • Communication skills: You must have good communication skills. • Knowledge of tools/equipment: You must understand the cleaning equipment, chemicals, and tools and must be able to use them safely and effectively. Salary and Benefits: $10-$13/hour
