I dusted off The Real Book after hearing a killer version of Nardis and am inspired to start chipping away at the standards on piano. If you play bass or drums and want to play some old-school tunes by the likes of Miles Davis and Bill Evans and Dave Brubeck, shoot me a note. I have access to a spacious practice area in SW Portland and am thinking a night a week for a couple of hours. Nothing serious, just a low-key outlet for creativity and a shared love of music.
