Starting Pay Rate: $17-$20/hour (DOE) Primary Job Function Makes pick-up and deliveries of company/customer/supplier materials and product and provides assistance in packaging, assembly and receiving. Note: This position operates on Day Shift (7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm) Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Represents IMC well to its customers, suppliers and the general public by operating as a safe and courteous driver. • Keeps accurate delivery log and correctly follows company procedures for handling of other paperwork. • Picks up and delivers products using 14’ and 20’ box truck or pickup • Works in packaging, assembly or receiving as needed • Properly loads truck so that parts travel in a stable manner • Notifies Shipping Lead when periodic maintenance is due • Stages parts on pallets and in boxes for delivery to suppliers • Empties garbage and scrap bins • Maintains storeroom • Follows established safety protocols including required usage of PPE; helps to maintain a safe working environment. • Keeps work area (including vehicle interior and cargo area) clean and organized • Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications and Experience Minimum skills, knowledge, education, certifications and related job experience that employee typically must have to perform essential functions of the job acceptably. • Strong customer service skills • Basic math and measurement skills • Strong attention to detail • Map reading skills • Valid driver license & clean driving record • Wrapping/Packaging skills • Ability to properly use a pallet jack & forklift Minimum Qualifications and Experience (con’t) • Dependability; honesty & integrity; a positive, proactive attitude; ability to use time productively, working with minimal supervision both individually and as part of a team. • Ability to work overtime as required Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
