Well I can tell by your statement you are all negative when it come to Law Enforcement. You play both sides but it is apparent your dislike. I guess your OK with all the Riots ( Opps. Peaceful Demonstrations) That destroyed cities all across the US. You must be an advocate for defunding the police. Good luck with that. Hey did you see the peaceful demonstration last night more fires and destruction all in the name of George Floyd. You can easily make armchair judgements. So while your asking what would you think being a black person, Go down to your local Police stations and see if they have an Axillary force and join in. Go out and see for your self what it would be like to be Shit on just for wearing a uniform. Having never been in that situation maybe you would understand a little more. However the issue IS NOT that people are arguing, debating, legislating about George Floyd. It's the plain fact that SOME POLICE do their jobs as if they are ABOVE THE LAW. And they use the "stress" of the job as an excuse to kill, maim, etc. Using force unnecessarily and without fear of retribution is wrong no matter who it is. In this country those people tend to be considered criminals and in some cases, the police. Are all police bad - no. Are some, you bet. Same as in every job. But they can't be allowed to shoot, maim, beat up, etc. unarmed people without the public being able to ask why and being held accountable. This bullshit of the Police Union coercing judges, etc. into letting these people go time after time is where change needs to start. The Chauvin guy should've been thrown off the force way before this incident based on his record. I want mentally stable people with guns in their hands. And we all know George Floyd was a career, small time, criminal. We know he wasn't a model citizen or human being. But you know who he was? He was an American citizen who is innocent until proven guilty. And THAT'S what's being talked about here. I wonder what your thoughts would be if you were a person of color, had children and they encountered an overzealous, asshole cop who "thought" they were carrying. ========================================================== Celebrate We are celebrating the one year anniversary of the elimination of a career criminal from our streets. A man who has NEVER done anything good for his community; He has always taken, rather than given. A career criminal who woke up every single morning, thinking about what kind of crime he will commit on that day. Now he's gone, and the world is a better place for that. His family made over $40 MILLION from his death. In that respect, he may have done ONE good thing by dying, but he never did any good while he was alive. AND... it makes me absolutely SICK, that Joe Biden has chosen to celebrate a criminal by inviting his family to OUR White House.
