Maintenance Person Wanted! We are company based in Central Oregon with multiple business locations in the Bend and Redmond area. We need an experienced and self-driven person to perform a variety of maintenance tasks at each location, which include offices, retail stores, production plants, and private land. This includes installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining a variety of interior and exterior building maintenance needs. Experience managing projects from start to end as well as overseeing vendor work is required. Some of the tasks the maintenance person will either perform or oversee contractors perform include: • Painting • Light Plumbing • Light Electrical • Carpentry • Welding • Flooring • Landscaping and ground maintenance • Fencing • Roofing repair/maintenance. • Snow removal and weed control as needed seasonally • Gutter cleaning, repairing and replacing • Development and implementation of preventative maintenance plan • Other duties as assigned. Job Conditions: This job requires vision to read small print manuals and computer screens, the ability to lift 80 pounds on occasion, and will include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling on a regular basis. Work will take place both inside and outside year round, including during times of inclement weather. Occasionally there could be work required around hazardous materials or loud machinery. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of general or specialized maintenance experience, including some painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, welding, flooring, and/or landscaping skills. We are looking for an organized person skilled in identifying maintenance issues, making repairs or coordinating work to be performed by a contractor. Knowledge or experience in the construction industry preferred. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills a must. Driver’s License and acceptable DMV record required; person will be driving company vehicle.
