Apply Here: POSITION SUMMARY The Facilities Manager will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the entire complex to include painting, parking, snow removal and all building repairs. This position will be required to work with and source contractors and external services to ensure operational efficiencies and that we remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Must ensure all tasks are being performed efficiently, correctly, and in accordance with all current SOP's. Responsible for full compliance throughout the facility and keeping up to date with all equipment maintenance requirements. Oversee and coordinate with contractors as needed or perform tasks necessary to keep facilities and equipment in proper working order. Coordinate with Facilities Maintenance Manager, as well as the Cultivation and Lab Director(s) to assist in ongoing maintenance, repair, or expansion projects performed by Culta. Must be able to operate, understand, and maintain the water filtration, drainage, and fertigation systems, including but not limited to: Priva Nutrijet Reverse osmosis filtration unit and accompanying equipment Tank chillers Feed and recirculating pumps Drainage sump condition and pump function In-tank water heaters General conditions of water storage tanks and plumbing Will be responsible for scheduled cleaning and maintenance of Priva Nutrijet and keeping all maintenance logs current. To be trained in pH calibration of Priva Nutrijet. Will be mainly a hands-on worker involved in all aspects of systems functionality in the Culta facility. This includes monitoring systems and inspecting for proper function, as well as making recommendations for repairs, and either completing the repairs in house or referring to contractors and submitting for bids, or assisting with repairs for any building systems including but not limited to: Doors, electrical, fans, drains and drainage lines, bathrooms, drinking fountains, dry room racks, rolling benches, locks, irrigation plumbing and valves, work required for expansion projects. Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items, as necessary. Develop and execute equipment audits and record-taking policies for all monitored systems within the facility. Coordinate with the Owner, CFO and VP of Operations on the implementation of new building projects. Additional Duties/Requirements Must be able to use or learn any computer software programs required for systems maintenance (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and any programs needed to run and monitor the climate control and fertigation systems.) Job Requirements High school diploma, GED or higher level of education. 3 5 years' experience with management of systems in agricultural irrigation, fertigation, HVAC, plumbing, or similar professional field. 3 - 5 years' experience working in a regulated cannabis cultivation facility (management preferred, but not required if management experience was gained in another profession). Ability to stand for long period of times, climb and stand on a ladder or raised mobile platform. Lift 50lbs. or more regularly each day. Exceptional organizational and communication skills, the ability to follow direction well, and train, motivate and manage lower level staff. Knowledge of mechanics and basic function of irrigation, and all climate control systems used throughout the facility (lighting, HVAC, CO2, etc). Accurate attention to detail and decisive reasoning skills. Must be able to qualify as a registered agent with the State Commission and may not have any violent or drug related felony convictions.
