Bald Head Island Limited, LLC is currently accepting applications for the Maintenance Worker II position to work at the Deep Point Marina in Southport. The position is Full-Time and does include benefits. Under direct supervision, performs a variety of unskilled to semi-skilled tasks in connection with the maintenance, repair and cleaning of buildings, grounds, equipment, and machinery. Work is often performed independently under the general direction and guidance of higher-level maintenance personnel. The position often serves in a lead worker role overseeing routine and seasonal projects. The position often assist higher-level maintenance personnel engaged in electrical, plumbing, building, mechanical and other trades related functions. Assignments are received in oral and written form. Reports to a maintenance supervisor or department head. Ability to read and write English and two years experience performing a variety of tasks in minor maintenance and housekeeping of buildings, grounds and facilities; some experience in the operation of motorized light to medium equipment preferred; or an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Possession of a valid United States driver's license. Requires the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
