Marathon Industries is a medium sized truck body manufacturing company with head offices located in Santa Clarita Ca. The company employs some 180 employees and maintains a team environment promoting primarily from within. This position will be at a new facility we are expanding to in the Reno/Sparks NV area. Pay based on the level of experience. Marathon is an E-Verify employer Valid ID Is required Salary: $15.00/hr. Starting rate may be increased depending on Experience Required Education: High school or equivalent Responsibility and Duties Adhere to vigorous safety procedures. Preform departmental activities per standard operation procedures and ensure that work preformed is neat and to the exact specifications. Physical Requirements: This position involves prolonged standing, repetitive motion, bending, stooping, pushing, lifting, and pulling. Good hand eye coordination and the ability to discern colors are required. Incumbents are also required to repetitively lift as much as 80 lbs. Qualifications and Skills: Ability to safety use small pneumatic tools. Sufficient literacy to read and understand verbal and written instructions and drawings. Hearing protection and safety glasses are required at all times and are provided. Additional safety equipment may also be provided based on specific assignment. Work surfaces are concrete. Assemblers stand while preforming their respective job functions. Use of ladders and scaffolding may be required.
