We have had our shots and would like to start playing with others again. We are a guitarist, sax, trumpet, drums who have been playing together for five years. We are looking for a bassist, low brass, and/or keyboardist to join us. We gigged monthly pre-COVID. At the moment, we just want to get together once a week to have fun and get our chops back into shape. If opportunities for gigs arise, great! But we will not be actively seeking bookings for a while. We play a bit out of fake books, but our guitarist is a prolific arranger and brings a lot of less well-known charts to life for us. We like this both for the challenge of more complex structures, as well as how they give us a unique sound.
