Full time Housekeeper/Personal Assistant position is available in the West Palmdale area of the Antelope Valley. Due to the personal nature of the job, local applicants only. The position is for a professional minded individual who is well organized, meticulous, and who has a desire and the experience to keep a home extremely clean. She must be warm and easy going, and know how to serve the needs of others. She must be adaptable and be able to pick up the ball when others need help. She must be considered a dependable person, have high energy, and be physically able to keep up with the demands of the job. She must be detail oriented and able to focus 100% on the job during working hours. She must be able to follow instructions as per the existing procedures of the home. She will need to be a self-starter, and have the ability to work independently. Professional cleaning experience is very helpful and must be comfortable around large dogs. The job is located in a safe and comfortable non-smoking home in West Palmdale. This is a long term position. Hours/Days approximately M-F 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check. Her job will be to assist in the day-to-day management of a busy private home that includes the special circumstances of 2 disabled adults and 2 large dogs. Example of responsibilities are as follows (but not limited to): • Keep all rooms clean and tidy, assist with weekly laundry, linen changing and maintain an ongoing schedule for deep cleaning. • Provide occasional respite. • Responsible for shopping, and errands. • Responsible for restocking household items to ensure smooth flow in your absence. • Any and all things that come up to assist in the day to day management of the home.
