Responsibilities and Duties A central part of the job is to keep all new and used vehicles looking sharp when customers arrive. Check newly arrived vehicles. Much of his typical day is spent hosing off and cleaning the exterior of vehicles and wiping down and cleaning out the interiors. Getting gas for cars. Additionally, check the washer fluids and other basic fluids in the cars to make sure they are filled for test drives. Alsolso performs simple, basic maintenance, such as battery replacement. Lot Presentation Often before working on individual cars, help to get the lot in clean and marketable condition. Maintaining our storage lot in a clean, organized manner. May also power wash the car lot and surrounding sidewalks periodically to pick up any dirt and grime. The general manager may also periodically move or rearrange vehicles for sales or for lot reorganization. Moving items in the shop. Keeping vehicles organized and moving quickly to the next status in our process Qualifications and Skills Background checks and drug screenings are a possibility. Must also provide a valid copy of a driver's license since will regularly operate vehicles at work.
