Blue Steel Construction and Management is a full service construction and property management company that serves the capital region. We are currently seeking a part time handyman to help us with the management of one of our larger apartment complexes. We are looking for a reliable, self starter, who can work independently and with little instruction. Requirements - Reliable transportation, including a valid drivers license - Own/ have access to essential hand and power tools - Ability to perform strenuous physical activity in a variety of field conditions - Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs at a time - Must be able to be consistently reached by phone - *Emergency availability a plus, additional compensation will be provided* Responsibilities - Work may include but is not limited to the following - Drywall installation - Cabinet installation - Painting/patching walls/ceilings - Replacing toilets/faucets/drains - Repairing/replacing light fixtures/outlets/switches - Install laminate/vinyl flooring - Perform tile/grout work - Diagnosing and repairing leaks Compensation - $20/hour to start with potential to increase down the road
