Seeking to fill cleaning positions in Ithaca area: Daytime, 2PM - 3PM, 5-7 days/week - worksite in S. Meadow St (RT13) shopping district Evenings, 5PM-10PM, 5 days/week (Monday-Friday) - worksite near Ithaca airport Evenings, 10PM - Midnight, 5-7 days/week - worksite on S. Meadow (Rt13) shopping district Apply to one or all positions - shifts can be combined to create a fuller weekly schedule if interested. Work 5 - 40 hours per week. After training, ability to work independently. Shift hours are somewhat flexible. Starting hourly pay rate from $13.75-$14.00/hour (paid weekly). Responsibilities: Cleaning offices and common areas - restrooms, breakrooms, entrances, hallways, stairs, storerooms, etc. Daily tasks include using company provided chemicals, equipment and supplies to vacuum, sweep, mop, clean glass, empty trash, dust, polish fixtures and sanitize all surfaces. Stock and fill dispensers. Other tasks as assigned. Reports to the Site Supervisor. Qualifications / Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and have the ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, twist, and reach high and low during shift. Must report to work each scheduled workday on time and work scheduled hours. Must comply with all proper safety policies and procedures and wear provided Personal Protective Equipment to include safety glasses, gloves, face covering/mask, ear protection, and steel toe shoes. Must be able to determine the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of the work assigned. Must be able to read and write in English. Agreement to background screening and random drug testing required. Must have reliable transportation.
