Epping Car Wash is Hiring! We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, team player to add to our growing car wash business. The ideal candidate will like working around automobiles and enjoy working in an outdoor environment, including colder winter months. Ability to stand for long periods. Have a positive work outlook, and enjoy interacting with people in a friendly manner. Must be dependable and able to work hours in posted schedule which include working weekend days. Must be a self-starter and take pride in doing the little things well. Attention to detail is a must. The job consists of performing daily duties at the car wash facility in Epping. Our mission is to create a car wash location that is always clean and well maintained. This consists of keeping the parking lot, vacuum areas and wash bays clean of litter. Duties also include periodic cleaning of the wash bays and may include some light landscaping work. Responsibilities: • Maintain a clean and visually pleasing environment for our customers. This includes sweeping parking lot, emptying trash bins and vacuum bins. • Remove any debris from wash bays and pressure wash as needed. • Perform daily visual/audio inspections of all machinery to ensure proper working order. This includes vacuum nozzles and motors, car wash equipment inside the wash bays, and pump station equipment in the machine room. • Trouble shoot frequently occurring issues/errors which do not require much, if any, technical skills or experience. • Check soap levels and refill or replace containers as needed. • Respond to customer questions and complaints while on-site. Determine appropriate customer service solution. Greet and create a pleasant, friendly environment for our customers. • There may be some light landscaping duties as needed, including lawn mowing, weeding garden beds and snow removal from customer walkways (we have a professional snow removal company for the lots) • Clean and organize machine room and office/workbench area as needed. • Other custodial and administrative duties as may be necessary from time to time. Additional Qualifications: • Car wash experience is good but not required, we will train the right candidate. • Ability to follow a checklist without missing any tasks. Pay: • $15.00/hr Hours: • Approximately 10 hours per week - 2 hours per day, 5 days a week • Weekends are our busy periods so weekend work is expected.
