Groundskeeper Job Summary:
Responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, office, parking lots and other community buildings on property.
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Supervises: None
Wage Status: Hourly (Non-exempt; eligible for over time)
Job Responsibilities:
Maintenance
• Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and management office, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Police trash areas in the six (6) Estates buildings, offices, and community perimeter on a daily basis.
• Sweep/blow all curb lines of property on a regular basis.
• Sweep/blow parking areas as necessary.
• Clean all gutters throughout property on a routine basis, or as directed by the Property Manager or Maintenance Manager.
• Clean all storm drains as necessary, or as directed by the Property Manager or Maintenance Manager.
• Checks all roofs on a routine basis, in order to clean drains and report any possible roof problems.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned janitorial tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist maintenance team with snow removal.
• Report any maintenance concerns for repairs in all common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Meticulously maintains curb appeal.
• Assist management/maintenance team with other various tasks as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the tennis courts, basketball courts, playground and pool area.
Administrative
• Uphold all company policies, goals and values.
Resident Relations
• Represent the community in a professional manner at all times-on/off property.
• Deliver communication documentation to residents.
