JP Management is currently hiring for a maintenance technician for an Apartment Community in Toms River. The position requires someone who can effectively evaluate and respond to a broad range of maintenance needs including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, tile, appliances, locks and keys, basic carpentry and drywall repair, etc. It is very much a hands-on position; it is not a supervisory job. The right candidate will be someone who is honest, self-directed, organized, able to multi-task, and who works well with people, both co-workers and tenants. This is a live on position Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Must have technical skills in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting and other general repairs.. Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections and repairs throughout the buildings and keep a written log. Turnover of vacant apartments for re-rental.
