Starting Pay: $15-16/Hr Position Summary The Laborer’s primary objective is assisting with a variety of assigned tasks according to the Daily Production Schedule Sheet including: preparing and moving materials and parts for production (e.g. cutting, welding, punching, painting) and receiving/shipping equipment. The Laborer demonstrates Onsite Safety’s mission, vision and core values at every level of work performance. Essential Job Functions Prepare, assemble, clean, rack, and transfer parts and equipment to designated locations throughout the various states of production as assigned by the Daily Production Schedule Sheet. Perform all duties as assigned in accordance with company, state, and federal safety procedures based on safety, PPE, and hazard awareness training. Safely handle all products according to training standards. Inspect and complete all general housekeeping duties as assigned. Properly dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with federal and state laws. Other duties as assigned. Work Environment and Time Requirements This position requires working in a warehouse environment. The Laborer must be able to: Work in all seasons and weather conditions, including a non-climate controlled warehouse; Operate production machinery (saws, welder, hole punch, cutting torch, tumbler); Lift, carry and unload a minimum of 60 lbs. of equipment; Operate high impact power tools; Drive fleet vehicle; Be flexible with scheduled shifts, including overtime and weekends; and Any other duties assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications HS diploma or equivalent. No experience required; fabrication, construction or painting experience is beneficial. Job-related and OSHA-10 training will be provided.
