GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking to employ Skilled Labor/Tradesman with knowledge of residential building trades, maintenance, and cleaning procedures. A Team Member is expected to have a solid work ethic, quality of work and time management skills. Positions also available for non skilled laborers. Skilled Labor/Tradesman should display the ability to do many basic construction trades with an understanding of building maintenance, repairs, refurbishments and cleaning. Top candidates will be fantastic at building procedures and have knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices. To be successful as a Skilled Laborer, you will have completed apprenticeships and acquired suitable skills. An outstanding Skilled Laborer should be hungry to expand their skill set and increase their level of expertise. You should also be willing to learn from other crew members and receive off-site training wherever possible. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Review and complete scope of work provided by crew leader or supervisor. Communicate with Crew Leader for any material or special tools required to complete the work. Training Dedicate time to develop and learn the skills needed to complete a job effectively and with quality. Daily Complete all job assignments, communicate problems or issues with the Crew Leader as they arise. During the last 15 minutes of each day double check all tools, trash and material have been picked up and do not remain on the property. Leave a clean and organized work site. Before leaving a complete jobsite: Crew Leader to sign off on work. Double check all tools, trash and material have been picked up and do not remain on the property. Check to make sure all lights are off and the thermostat is set to 75 degrees in the summer and 55 degrees in the winter. Responsibilities Enter your hours accurately into T-Sheets. Perform quality work. Keeping the job site clean and safe to work in. Provide daily updates to the Crew Leader. Oversee general workplace problems or concerns and bring them to the Crew Leader. Obeying health and safety codes, as well as the company's principles. Other duties and jobs as assigned. EDUCATION & TRAINING Education, certification, or training (3+years of on the job works counts) in one of the following fields is required; framing, roofing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, sheetrock, flooring, tile. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Min. of 3 years experience in one of these trades: framing, roofing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, sheetrock, flooring, tile. Sound knowledge of construction and practical experience with tools. A good understanding of safety procedures. SKILLS & ABILITIES Reliable transportation. Ability to work as a team. Ability to communicate effectively. Excellent time management skills. Ability to operate construction tools and machinery. Great hand, eye, and foot coordination. WORKING CONDITIONS WORK Employee could be exposed to rain, snow, and extreme heat or cold. Employee should be able to lift items up to 75lbs, climb ladders, and operate construction tools. HOURS / SHIFTS 7 am to 4 pm; Monday through Friday; overtime available. PAY Based on experience BENEFITS: after 90 days, select paid holidays and PTO. Job Type: Full-time
