I am a contracted Courier driver who is looking for a backup driver.   I work seven nights a week and need an occasional day off plus vacation coverage.  I work with 13 other drivers who all have routes and are looking for additional coverage also.  With warmer weather ahead  there  will be plenty of work. We deliver pharmaceuticals to facilities all over the state on set nightly routes.  Some routes are longer than others and pay more.  There is also the opportunity to deliver stats when needed.  (Unscheduled deliveries of an urgent nature). The requirements are as follows; Clean, professional,  adaptable. Business casual attire is required. You must be able to pass a BCI background check. You must have full coverage on your vehicle and a good driving record. Is it strongly suggested that for route coverage you use a fuel efficient SUV or midsize sedan. (I used a 2008 Camry for a while). Stat coverage only requires a fuel efficient vehicle of any size. Pay depends upon distance traveled. The pick up point is in West Columbus. So the maximum distance away from that pick up point would be 30 to 45 minutes, with traffic, for stat work.  Routes have set pick up times, distance from the pickup point is not a concern. We are required to drive in all types of weather.  The weather of the last 2 weeks included. FYI.  I left retail management four and a half years ago and have been very happy with my courier job.
